Marriage Problems

Ein Gedicht von Daisy Picoems
I think my wife is possessed by a ghost
he is using her body as a host

She's been acting strange
I wanted to shoot her
but she ran out of my range
I think she's growing some fur

She's been scratching the paint off our walls
and sneaking around in dark, cold halls
also she's collecting dead bugs in a box
and I caught her killing a fox

Last night she sat awake
drawing a black snake
It was totally dark
the only thing I heard was a dog bark

I don't know what to do
I don't believe in the church
there's blood on my shoe
cause I hit her head with a torch
maybe I should leave and go on a march

I think my wife is okay with the ghost
I'll head out for the coast
